At Falcon Safety Products, Inc. the safety of our employees and our consumers is paramount, which is why we make every effort possible to train our plant technicians in the proper filling techniques. We work hard to control and limit all unnecessary gas omissions during filling.
We also incorporate a recycling system into our manufacturing process that allows our gas propellants to be recycled and re-used where necessary. This only occurs when a product is damaged during filling and deemed unsatisfactory by our quality control department. Although this is a rare occurrence, Falcon makes it a priority to recycle and re-use propellants in order to significantly reduce emissions and protect the environment.
For consumers wishing to know how and if Dust-Off canisters can be recycled:
- Dust-Off cans are made of steel and can be recycled with metals in accordance to your local recycling programs.
- However, PLEASE make sure that all cans are empty of compressed gas prior to recycling.
- Our Duster cans are 100% steel and when empty, can normally be recycled in accordance with can recycling.
- Check with your municipality for steel recycling acceptance.
