Mouse Cleaning
"I've had it with this mouse! Every time I try to use it, the cursor sticks or the "click" buttons stick. I'll just get a new one!"
Have you ever said that or heard it before? Before you run to the store for a new mouse, give yours a good cleaning first. The problem may be related to contaminant buildup, in and around the mouse.
Cleaning is simple. Locate the slide cover on the bottom of the mouse; follow the arrows and rotate the cover counterclockwise. The cover will slip off and the mouse ball will fall out. Wipe down the mouse ball and housing, and then replace the mouse ball. This will eliminate any residue that can prevent the mouse from properly functioning. Cleaning the housing can also remove any buildup and keep your mouse rolling freely. Save yourself some time and money - clean your mouse for continuous, uninterrupted service.
Dr. Dust-Off® recommends a Dust-Off® MINI for some quick, penetrating blasts to remove loose debris, cleaning swabs for the interior housing, and some anti-static cleaning wipes to remove residue from the exterior housing and track ball.
