How Do You Care for Your LCD/Plasma Screens?
In the advent of today's booming LCD/Plasma Screen Technology many consumers are unsure of how to properly and safely care for these new electronic visual gems. For some it is a simple wipe with a cloth, others just leave their screens alone because they don't know, and there are still others who might be tempted to use the tried and true window cleaners. Here's a couple of quick tips: 1. Tried and true window cleaners and paper towels are not recommended for these sensitive screens. 2. There are some quality screen cleaners out there, but be sure to read the instructions before applying or using them as some should not be sprayed directly onto the screen. 3. Best to use a soft, microfiber product for screen cleaning. 4. When wiping remember not to apply too much pressure because you can damage screen pixels. 5. Always clean a used microfiber once every couple of weeks because it is picking up debris off your screen and capturing it in its fibers. You don't want to lay those back down onto your new screen later.
