New CD Solution From Falcon® Safety Products
Somerville, NJ (September 14, 1999) - Falcon Safety Products, Inc., maker of computer cleaning supplies and accessories, and Exponent, an Italian manufacturer of workstation organization accessories, have formed a strategic alliance to combine sales, marketing and distribution in the United States and Europe.
All U. S. selling, marketing and shipping will be handled by Falcon, while Exponent will maintain control of product design, development and manufacturing. A similar combination of activities is planned for Europe under the direction of Exponent Italia. Falcon's existing distribution operations in the Netherlands will be moved to Exponent's U.K., German, French and Italian distribution centers.
"This alliance lets us combine the strength of two strong brands in key computer accessory product categories, giving the industry the ability to buy both brands from one source, said Phillip Lapin, president of Falcon." Combining the sales, marketing and distribution organizations will make it easier for our customers to stock both the Dust-Off® and Exponent® brands."
Falcon Safety Products developed the original compressed gas computer duster, Dust- Off in 1982 and remains the only supplier that manufactures its own product. Today the Dust- Off line includes anti-static sprays, cleaning kits, pre-moistened wipes and cleaning sheets for printers and fax machines. Exponent manufactures a variety of workstation organization accessories, including a complete line of zip holders, disk organizers, monitor stands and printer paper organizers.
