Dust-Off® Announces Partnership With eMazing Gaming

Dust-Off Strengthens Presence in Professional Gaming Sector With Sponsorship of United States’ Leading Counter Strike 1.6 and DotA Teams – eMg

Branchburg, NJ (February 6, 2008) – Dust-Off®, the leading brand of consumer electronics cleaning products, today announced its partnership with eMazing Gaming, LLC, in which it will sponsor the company’s Counter-Strike 1.6 and DotA teams. This newly formed partnership further strengthens Dust-Off’s presence within the professional gaming community, with the ultimate goal of increasing brand awareness among professional and amateur gamers alike.

Specializing in Counter-Strike 1.6 and DotA (a modification of Warcraft), team eMg competes in the World Cyber Games (WCG), E-Sports World Cup (ESWC), Cyber Evolution (CEVO), and other regional events.

“Competitive gaming has become a key market for Dust-Off, and over the past few years, Dust-Off has truly elevated its presence in the gaming community,” said Ken Newman, Director of Marketing for Dust-Off. “Our first foray into competitive gaming was in the form of an event sponsor of the 2006 US World Cyber Games Finals in Las Vegas. Since then, we’ve become an official partner with the World Cyber Games on a global level, have introduced the Keyboard Quiver – our first gaming specific product – and have now partnered with Team eMg. We couldn’t be more proud and excited to begin 2008 on such a high note and look forward to the success of both the eMg CS 1.6 and DotA teams throughout the year.”

In 2007, team eMg’s Counter-Strike 1.6 team had the honor of representing the United States in the World Cyber Games, which were held in Seattle, WA. Out of 53 countries with Counter-Strike 1.6 teams, eMg placed fourth. Furthermore, the eMg Counter-Strike 1.6 team is starting the year off strong by winning the KODE5 USA Qualifier, which took place at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show. As a result of eMg’s victory, the team earned five $200 cases from CoolerMaster and a paid trip to represent the United States in the KODE5 Grand Finals in Moscow, Russia, where they will compete against the best in the world for their share of over $60,000 in cash and prizes.

“We’re extremely excited to partner with Dust-Off,” said Matt Marcou, General Manager of Team eMg. “Dust-Off products are invaluable when it comes to maintaining your PC hardware and we appreciate their commitment to understanding the needs of gamers. The Keyboard Quiver is an innovation for gamers that should have seen the light of day years ago.”

Team eMg has competed in major E-Sports competitions for over 5 years. In November, Gotfrag, the biggest source of news in E-Sports and Major League Gaming subsidiary, ranked eMg as the #1 team in North America. Team eMg is also the #1 ranked DotA team in the US, which is regarded as a top 8 performer in the world.

Priding itself as always being a top contender, eMg has competed in major E Sports events for over five years, and maintains a high standard for each of its competitive teams. eMg maintains a committed group of managers stationed in all corners of the United States (Dallas/Chicago/Los Angeles/New York), who accompany each team to live events and handle all logistical and operational needs. Furthermore, eMg managers ensure that each team conducts its business with a professionalism not found in any other E-Sports franchise.
