Falcon® Expands Its Dust-Off® Line With Launch of Electronics Circuitry Cleaning and Testing Products

New products highlight Dust-Off mission of preventative maintenance.

Somerville, NJ (October 18, 2004) – Falcon Safety Products® is proud to announce a new line of electronics circuitry cleaning and testing products; the latest addition to its Dust-Off® family. The line comprises a series of ozone safe, aerosol products in the Freeze Spray, Contact Cleaner, Flux Remover and Cleaner/Degreaser, all of which are specifically engineered to safely dust and clean delicate circuitry and electronics.

Each of the products is electro-static-discharge (ESD) safe and will assist in dissipating static build-up; important when dealing with any type of charged electronics. When in use, the new line leaves behind no corrosive residue, very low odors and vapors and will help absorb moisture and water assisting in component drying.

FLUX REMOVER
The Flux Remover is ideal for instantly removing residue from soldering fluxes as well as oils, grease, inks and other ionic and organic contaminants. As an ozone friendly product, the Flux Remover has very good toxicity ratings and is safe for all plastics.

CLEANER/DEGREASER
Blasting with a triple blend of three alcohols, the fast drying solvents of the Cleaner/Degreaser target light grease and oils. The Cleaner/Degreaser is reliable and safe on any plastic and other delicate circuitry components and has very good toxicity ratings.

CONTACT CLEANER
With low surface tension, the Contact Cleaner is designed to instantly remove organic and particulate matter, including dust, light residue, light oils and grease. While the Contact Cleaner directly targets unwanted contaminants, it is risk-free for all plastics and is ozone safe.

FREEZE SPRAY
Throughout the assembly or repair of computer circuitry, the Freeze Spray is ideal for identifying faulty circuits, capacitors, resistors, semi-conductors or other defective components. While the troubleshooting spray is designed to recognize damaged materials, it also detects cold solder joints, cracks in printed circuit boards and oxidized bonding.
